To get the Virtue Shocker Board BreakBeam Eye Logic Upgrade, add this item to the cart, complete the checkout and send us your board and we will upgrade it for free to be compatible with new breakbeam eye Shockers. With this update you will be able to switch your Virtue Shocker board from breakbeam eye mode to reflective eye logic mode through the programming menu.

The upgrade is free, but you do need to pay for shipping.

Changing the Eye Logic Mode on your Breakbeam Eye Compatible Virtue Shocker Board. 1. With the marker off, and tournament lock off, hold the trigger and turn the marker on. Release the trigger once the marker turns on. 2. The LED will cycle through a rainbow of colors and stop on blue. 3. Tap the trigger until it stops on Yellow for Eye Mode. 4. Pull and hold the trigger until the LED flashes the number of times the Eye Mode is currently set to. (1 flash for Reflective Eye Logic, 2 flashes for Breakbeam Eye Logic) 5. When the LED stops flashing, tap the trigger 1 time for Reflective Eye Mode or 2 times for Breakbeam Eye Mode. 6. The LED will flash the number of taps you entered, then flash the rainbow of colors, and stop on Yellow. The new value is set. 7. To exit programming mode, shut the marker off.

Effective immediately, Virtue has announced a free update for all Virtue Shocker board owners. This update allows you to use your Virtue board in a Russian Legion, Naughty Dogs, and other breakbeam eye powered Shockers to be released in the future. You do not need the update unless you are using your Virtue board in one of the previously mentioned breakbeam eye Shockers.

All Shocker boards sold by Virtue (and to Virtue dealers) from Aug 24th 2006, and on have the break beam eye mode incorporated into the software. So you can easily switch your Virtue board from a reflective eye Shocker to a break beam eye Shocker through the trigger programming menu.

Since virtually every single Shocker out there is a reflective eye Shocker, most Virtue users will not need to get this update, but Virtue is providing it for free to users who want to upgrade to a newer breakbeam eye Shocker. This ensures future compatibility with the new line of Shockers Smart Parts is releasing which use breakbeam eyes.

All breakbeam Virtue Shocker boards sold from Aug 24 onward come with the “Breakbeam eye ready” label on the packaging.

Dealers with existing Shocker boards can either send their Shocker boards back to Virtue for the free update, or have their customer send the board back if necessary. There are only a handful of breakbeam eye Shockers out there, so most stores can safely sell through their existing inventory of Shocker boards without having to worry about the update. If a customer does need a breakbeam Virtue board, they can get theirs updated by contacting us. All boards ordered from Virtue from Aug. 24th 2006 onward come with the update. Most dealers do not need to worry about getting existing boards updated.
